About Me

Hi everyone! My name is Taylor Taylor. I live in Colorado Springs, Colorado with my husband, Colton, and our daughter, June. I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Colorado State University – Pueblo in 2015 and I have four years of clinical experience under my belt. Two and a half of those years were spent in Women’s Services on Labor and Delivery where I was also cross trained in the nursery and on the postpartum floor.

At the age of ten, I knew I wanted to be a Labor and Delivery nurse. I considered myself lucky that I knew at such a young age what I thought I wanted to do for the rest of my life. Landing that job just one year after graduation was very exciting. However, it did not exactly play out like I always imagined it would. Basically, I left that job with a burning desire in my heart to love on and empower women during their pregnancies as they prepared for the births of their babies. I knew I wanted to educate them about their options so that they would feel confident in making informed decisions about their care and have an experience that was positive, empowering, and made them feel unstoppable. This desire grew even stronger as I prepared for my own birth.

When I found Hypnobabies, I had unknowingly found the connecting piece to everything else that was integral to my perfect birth — my doula, my birth center, my incredible midwives, the education I needed to make my own informed decisions, and the hypnosis techniques that gifted me with my easy and comfortable birth. February 8, 2019, at 10:42 AM will be a moment I will never forget. Not only was it the moment I met my beautiful daughter earth side, but it was the moment that my strength, my capabilities, my hard work, and my diligent practice were all validated. I knew that I was a woman capable of doing great things…hard things…things that we as women are conditioned to believe we cannot do without eventually needing to be saved or helped.

I want this for ALL women. I strongly believe that birth is not just one experience, that happens in one second, in one day of a woman’s life. I believe birth has the capacity to radically change a woman’s life in the most beautiful and unexpected ways if she opens herself up to that possibility. My hope as a Hypnobabies Childbirth Hypnosis instructor is to suggest that possibility to as many women as I can.
